Trump says Epstein grand jury testimony won’t satisfy ‘radical left lunatics’

President Trump said Saturday that even if the courts agreed to release all the grand jury testimony pertaining to Jeffrey Epstein, the Democrats still wouldn’t be satisfied.

“I have asked the Justice Department to release all Grand Jury testimony with respect to Jeffrey Epstein, subject only to Court Approval,” Mr. Trump wrote on Truth Social. “

“With that being said, and even if the Court gave its full and unwavering approval, nothing will be good enough for the troublemakers and radical left lunatics making the request,” he wrote. “It will always be more, more, more. MAGA!”

The Trump administration Friday asked a federal court to unseal the grand jury documents related to Epstein’s sex trafficking case.

The decision comes after outrage erupted from Democrats and his supporters after the Justice Department said their investigation found no client list of people that may have been involved in Epstein’s operation and that no additional documents would be released to the public.

Mr. Trump said Thursday he would be directing Attorney General Pam Bondi to release the grand jury testimony.

“Based on the ridiculous amount of publicity given to Jeffrey Epstein, I have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce any and all pertinent Grand Jury testimony, subject to Court approval. This SCAM, perpetuated by the Democrats, should end, right now!” Mr. Trump posted on Truth Social.

In a response on X, Ms. Bondi said the Justice Department was ready to ask a federal court on Friday to unseal the grand jury transcripts.

His announcement came after The Wall Street Journal reported that a “bawdy’ letter to Epstein with Mr. Trump’s signature was included in an album of letters Epstein received for his 50th birthday in 2003.

The letter, which wasn’t included in the report but was said to contain the outline of a naked woman and says, “Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret,” was written 16 years before Epstein would be charged with child sex trafficking. He died in 2019 while in a New York City jail awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges by apparent suicide.

Mr. Trump has denied that he wrote the letter or drew the picture.

“I never wrote a picture in my life. I don’t draw pictures of women,” he told the Journal. “It’s not my language. It’s not my words.”

Despite calling for his supporters to let the situation go, and calling it “boring,” a growing number of Republicans and Trump supporters, including former Vice President Mike Pence, Rep. Lauren Boebert, Colorado Republican, far-right podcaster Laura Loomer, and podcaster Joe Rogan have called Ms. Bondi to release additional materials.
