
A potential terrorist attack in Michigan was prevented early Friday, the FBI said.
Multiple people were arrested who were allegedly plotting an attack over the Halloween weekend, FBI Director Kash Patel said in a post on the social media platform X.
Additional details were not immediately available.
“Thanks to the men and women of FBI and law enforcement everywhere standing guard 24/7 and crushing our mission to defend the homeland,” he wrote.
The Dearborn Police Department said it was made aware that the FBI conducted operations in the city.
“We want to assure our residents that there is no threat to the community at this time,” the department said on Facebook.
